Journalist Sean Henry is plagued by a reoccurring dream of tsunamis and earthquakes. Coincidentally, his new assignment is to research the lost continent of Atlantis, an ancient civilization that was destroyed by the same devastations. After discovering remnants of Atlantis at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, Sean and his research team trigger a curse, destroying their ship. Their miraculous survival is quickly overshadowed upon realizing they have washed up on the shores of Atlantis, 11,000 years ago. They are immediately confronted by the mistrusting nature of the king, who believes them to be spies of his enemies. Fighting to stay alive and working to uncover the secrets of the curse, Sean discovers the truth behind his dreams and the greater danger it is to be in Atlantis. With the unexpected help of an Atlantean princess, he and his team must embark upon a journey across the ancient world to reverse the curse before their time runs out.
